This spot was cleared when the GMs removed some cheater's houses a few nights ago (they had many many accounts holding plots). I happened to get lucky and placed a keep on it, which I traded to Nekkar. He has since replaced it with 2 18x18's. This spot will be awesome when house linking comes in

Yeah I think I bought it for 450k right after the event, can't seem to find the post though.

Problem is, most worthwhile IDOC's are known by the big guilds on this server anyway. He is making this forum post so that everyone has a chance - the more people there are present, the harder it is for one guild to take full control. That being said, a lot of people look forward to the PvP...

As far as I know, these are made when you try to make a map in a weird area - maybe grotto or one of the new dungeons?

I think people are hesitant to bid on these things because no one knows what's going on with the rares system. It could end being deleted by a GM or might end up being fairly common. Or it could be the only one that will ever exist. No one knows =/ Either way it is indeed a cool item

There is some info in the wiki about rares that drop from monsters. Other than that, the rares system has been disabled since August. A new rares system was going in with the expansion, but I guess it's been delayed.
