Lol, yeah that was a really fun event for me. Never thought I'd make it past them AND the pirate crew waiting outside. I was able to do this twice actually, and got two hats. I traded one of these hats for the dead bloodclan orc rare listed above.

There are some bigger groups doing RDAs, but the reason is because we know we can get something special, aside from gold, out of it - stuff needed for crafting slayer armor and rares. Part of the reason the newer dungeons are empty is there's literally no incentive other than gold to go to...

Didnt even think about that, but yeah Water dissipation is an option as well - could make MIB fishing and whirlpools a lot easier for non-tamers.
