I also think the hard part right now is making objects that take so many logs. I could do shields but the gain on shields isn't that much. Writing tables are better gain until you can make staves but use up a ton of wood.

Was that 1000 logs go to dungeon, back and forth? I've tried to put more than 1600, they weigh 1 stone a piece on boards.

Can someone tell me what skill gain is like? I know in dungeons it's boosted but what about from a home? I'm trying to raise carp and the boards are so heavy going back and forth to a dungeon isn't really feasible when I can burn through 1600 boards on a pack horse in no time. Should I just...
