So, magery can replace remove trap and detect hidden. However, detect hidden and remove trap are very useful if you want to make cash picking dungeon chests, as combined with hiding you can be hidden the whole time :)

Treasure chest idea is great. And not a horrible idea for the seeing hidden, but I feel like that would change game mechanics quite a bit so not sure on that one, although I would personally have lots of fun with it

Dexers are already luck based to an extent with your chance to hit. Super powered weapons would be epically awesome, for whoever had one or the group of 10 going after the red guy that does... My point is, these minor mechanic changes and additions are the tools the devs have to make this game...
