The damage increases will go like this: Ruin, Might, Exceptional, Force, Power, Vanq. On magic items there is a separate stat usually though, the accuracy, which will also increase your Tactics by a certain skill amount, which intern, increases damage even further.
Ruin +1 Damage
Might: +3...
Your top damage for each is going to be:
Halbred: Swords
Spear: Fencing
War Hammer: Macing
They realtively all hit for the same amount of damage when you factor in speed, although the Halbred will hit for the most damage. If you're just starting off, Fencing isn't a bad mix of speed/damage.
If you're using Razor, inside the macro pane, right click your instrument and change to "Convert to DClick by Type." This will select a random item of type, rather than the exact one you double clicked. Just be sure to have all of the same type of instruments in your pack.
There are two types of BODs, Tailoring and Blacksmithy. In order to get a BOD, you must have at least 0.1 in the required skill.
To receive one you go up to the proper NPC and single click the NPC.
Select the "Bulk Order Info" option. You may only request a Bulk Order every 6 hours.

Prospecting tool is fine. The garg pickaxe and powder are useless. A straight dexer couldn't kill one of those verite elementals, they hit almost as hard as an ogre lord and poison you...
1 bear rug left, on my "Random" vendor!
