This is the exact experience that I am having. How are you checking your ping? in game or at a command prompt?

Definitely still happening for me - on my laptop, but not PC. I get six steps and then it pauses for 2 seconds and then repeats. Sometimes its a bit better, sometimes its worse. Haven't been able to walk more than ten steps without a pause for the last few weeks - so my problem might be...

OK this is now totally crazy. I deleted the game client and razor, removed all legacy registry settings, removed my antivirus and installed a new one (of a different brand). I restarted where appropriate in between those settings. I installed a fresh copy of the game and.... success! Normal...

Well in the incredibly unlikely event anyone is still watching this thread - I installed team viewer and am now streaming UOF from my desktop to my laptop.... and it's working like a dream. I imagine that rules out most video hardware issues and totally rules out any wireless/broadband issues...
