I'm not a tamer, but I do rely on tamers to farm gold for me so I'll speak up in support of tamers. I saw Adam ban MT Bowl from IRC today because bowl was pissed off about the nerf. Adam said anyone who didn't report the OP QC should be banned and if they didn't report it then they don't care...
New players are the only people this change hurts? Not at all, this will hurt PvPers and PKs the most who are just too greedy and curious.
New players are just as likely to pickup/open a box on the ground, and are far less likely to use the trade window screen to detect a trap.
Currently, you can detect a trapped chest by trying to hand it off to your friend, it will say that you cannot trade a trapped item. Therefore, most people never get blown up. Please enable the trading of trapped chests.
On old UO, the only way to detect whether a chest was trapped was to use...

I know I'm the only advocate for chain purples, but that's because...
That would save you the time it takes to equip the axe, but that's it. If you have a crew of two and land a stun, you're better off syncing exp FS with a fs scroll. Please add the traps back, the funnest thing to do was hide the pots under hides and trick ppl into standing on them! Took forever...

I was never able to do it with a stun against anyone who tried to run. It only worked against...
Stun isn't quit long enough to guarantee an pot trap kill. Calling it "insta kill" isn't quite accurate. I understand that it seems instant to someone who doesn't know what is happening... but first the attacker has to put the pots down (where they can be scavenged), then the attacker has to set...
