Yoar,
By successful you mean.....
Don't get me wrong. I like fishing. I'm not complaining about getting 1-2 mibs a hour. I actually thought this was standard and how it had always been.
I was just stunned by the apparent difference between what I am pulling up and what others are pulling up.
What the hell am I doing wrong with the MIB fishing?
There is no way I fish up 4-5 MIB an hour. I must be missing something.
I mean I'm in a boat in deep water. I'm GM...well very recently 105. I fish..move forward a few tiles..fish...and repeat.
Thanks Olivier.
As a gm I figure I fish up 1-2 MIBs an hour. So I would say the numbers were great but don't reflect the true fisher income.
I would say it would take about 50 hours at least to get the 100 mibs.
So 67 hours / 1 mil is a lot closer to 15k an hour and that is a max. It would...
Just a question on the comment about houses with no roofs.
Do you think that is because they don't have the money or are they 2/3/4th houses or people who are trading/selling houses as a trade?
I did "assume" that there was a surplus of cash in UOF:
1) the staff choose to implement the...
What if IDOCs were left in place but all items inside a house that collapses go for auction?
The fight and tracking stays on for the properties but..
you have a list of items that go for a single bid...
Storage Wars Britannia!!
I'm not complaining, I just wondered what the scoop was or if there was some big reason why it is that way. Sounds like its been this way for some time.
I went to Bucs the other day and it is dead...which got me thinking.
Why are reds allowed in town with civilized, friendly blues?
Ok yes, true. There are town thieves but every beautiful forest has a pile of shit hidden in it somewhere.
I think the reason that vendors are so prolific is because it is predominately a farming based economy. I agree it is painful to shop.
Suggestions to help that:
1) Higher cost of vendor contract - 50k?
2) Much higher minimum daily cost to operate vendors - maybe 2-5k?
Combine that with the...
Suggestions:
- Increase chance of runic tools from BODs so that crafters can compete with farming mob drops.
Better yet. Increase the runic tool reward chance, particularly the high end tools, and dial back the mob magic item drop.
Think this would shift the focus more toward player...
Does anyone know what the current rate of high end runic tools is now?
Uh ok...just looked at the Tower of roses chart on smithing BOD rewards. I see what you mean. It is possible to get and craft top weapons but it looks like it would be easier, and take less time, to train up a tamer and go...
So true. Ideas on making crafted items relevant:
1)make crafting skill gain harder
2) GM/GM+ exp crafted weapons = power plus a random Tactics bonus with a production rate like slayer weapons(1-2.5% and slayer and tactics randoms can stack)
3) same for gm/GM+ armor - up the comparison values...
