My advice is, pick up everything when you are new and trying to get gold. If the armor isnt fortification or invulnerablity, sell it to an npc. Same for weapons if they are not power/vanq. Magic scrolls can also be sold to npcs as well. Save any skill scrolls and high end equipment to sell on a...

I heard someone say that if you save the image files from the old client and transfer them to the new one it will work. I havent tried it yet myself..

Yes the limit is 3 accounts, but from what I understand you can have all 3 toons in factions as long as its the same faction. So 6 toons to farm points from.

The issue was, it was easy to farm an alt, and then basically give yourself free gold. The devs decided they didnt like it. No one complained. They are implementing a new system because THEY decided to.

I think they took them out recently. Taxes and vendors were being abused from what I heard. Edit: a new "militia" system is being introduced to take its place around the first of the year.

I dont think that works anymore. The de-coder HAS to dig it up. Edit: you only need 70 cartography to decode any level map. This may change in the future if level 7s are introduced.

Yes telekenesis will set off traps at any level. My treasure hunter has 0 magery and I use telekenesis scrolls to do it. Magery is not even needed. Also I havent heard of any changes about telekenesis. If they do that, it would really suck for my treasure hunter build..
