If anything were addressed in the matter, it would lean towards the deed idea. We'd opt towards player interaction over anything else.
Generally, if a player knows how the bonding process works, they likely have a rune to WBB. Which they can thus ask for a res. The idea behind UO is community...
It's one of those trade-offs. As some have said, it hits hard. Very hard. Then you need to take modifiers into account vanq, power, accuracy bonuses and most importantly, ranged.
Due to the damage output of a bow, its swing speed and accuracy are aligned as such.
It may feel like you're missing...
This rule has been enforced for about 5 months, but with so many things on the go, slipped our minds to revise the rule page.
Generally speaking, we just jail the people doing it (to stop the macro) for a few hrs until they page to get out, and let them know the rules.
Basically what this...
A copy of Kareem's guide was copied/pasted to him in its entirety prior to deletion. I felt it was only fair to give him a copy of it since effort was put in during its creation. So that's that.
As for the wiki, keep it coming guys! Doing some great work in there. We feel it's a great...
First off, you will want to use either the Item ID skill, or an ID Wand on all of the items.
After that, go around to vendors, see what the prices of things are.
Yeah, you can sell things to npc's, or you can place the stuff you don't want into the Battlewells located around the West Britain...
Haha. Thanks. Was pretty brutally sick on the weekend when I was setting up/naming the dungeon ones and pirate city. Big cheers to @Carl too for his help. And a huge + to @Adam for his amazing gump design/coding and efforts on the project as a whole. We have lots more on the horizon, and...
Non-bid related garbage deleted. Corresponding follow-ups the same. Harry...De-rail repeatedly and get forum privileges suspended. Do THAT more, get banned.
Carry on w/ the sale.
Some will be account wide. Some will not. If you, say, kill 1000 ancient wyrms on your provo, that's not exactly your tailor's feat...
We're filtering in more daily. Between the icons, the on-the-fly coding and other things these take a little time.
But back to the OP. Simply, some are acct...
Go through your [battles options for CTF next time it's up. You can unsubscribe to it thus not getting the notifier anymore. Been this way for a while.
Going to lock this thread.
I'm glad you were able to take the time with this monktoast.
UO's a grief-riddled world. You bet. But it's that part of the game that has us playing it 15+ years later.
I hope you continue to grow with the shard! We all get frustrated.
Not saying the timing process from greatly-Idoc is illegal. It most certainly is legit.
We want randomized timers though. Landing a time and people logging out and only appearing 5 minutes before said time isn't something we really consider "Active effort".
Stay hidden at said houses, or...
Really. So opening your runebook, and clicking the location. Setting your target-type to that sign, turning on your macro and going to sleep/work is really so demanding? Provide some back-up to this.
Time/effort/coordination.
Out of curiosity, how much time/effort/coordination do people really think is involved in the last stage (parking a character macroing itemid on signs and screenshotting/log out upon sign change)?
*this* is what will be randomized. Not the tracking of the preceding...
Sadly, there are many scripts people are using these days... in a rampant fashion.
The fact that yes, all they do is run around while watching a movie and the program auto screenshots for them when it finds something doesn't exactly scream "effort" to the process.
Agreed, it's not "ruining"...
I'm glad you enjoyed it. Moreso, glad you decided to take the time to respond to it!
For 'holiday' events, I'll agree with you there. Perhaps running them a week previous is the best way to go about it. We do try to give everyone an equal opportunity. And taking family/work/sleep obligations...
Thanks.
Hope you guys all liked it.
When Steve and I sat down and designed the event, we had core fundamentals in mind, and worked from there.
1. Time-zone liberal. We pay attention to the playerbase. It's very difficult to create events with so many different timezones, so this is the very...
