My understanding was Shane promised that the talisman when implemented would never affect pvp either directly or indirectly. Two guys fighting in the midst of spawn. One player with no talisman takes significant damage from spawn. The other player with a maxed out talisman takes little damage...
Maybe you have a point. Allow everything- talisman, swampies, weps, slayer armor to work as it did. Just unbless/unbond them - you want the advantage you just run the risk to loss it. HAR!

i kinda like it. I think the inception of talisman made players way too powerful. Looking at it from a different perspective- i would often see griefer's luring spawn onto others. This change might make them think twice if they know they can be simply flagged on and that talisman protection now...
Keep the meta, gold and steed. Maybe fill you house with assorted other junks and stuff and have a house dropping party with a gate from the bank! Go out with a bang. Maybe ask @Jakaro how to do it properly HAR!
