In the end I solved this by completely reinstalling Windows (my dev setup usually breaks a lot of things). It sounds difficult, but only took about 15 minutes to do a completely clean reinstall (my data is on another harddrive, so I just lost installed programs), and then another 15-30 minutes...

That's not what I meant. Having 4 accounts for 2 people doesn't hurt anyone and doesn't give me any advantage at all. If anything it's worse than the default, since 2 people would have 6 accounts.
