Yah. But W. Brit was never really a target for the true thieves. 80% guard whack is hardly an incentive when 0% guard whack is available in dungeons and around vendors. :)

Hang out around the vendors outside of the guard zone. If you really want to have fun.. carry all your gold and unblessed shit in your backpack. Its what all the cool kids do. Trust me.

I've always stolen from people who are shopping.. but it never occurred to me to stock my own vendors and wait for marks to come to me. Truly brilliant!
Since I don't PvP I haven't experienced any of the cheating that's been mentioned. However, I have been accused of cheating on several occasions after lifting valuables from people's backpacks. Same scenario I suppose.
How is the winner notified? In game gump or email? When I'm logging in for a quick session I'll usually dismiss any gumps. I'm sure that many others do the same.
Allakazam had an "anything goes" forum and it dissolved into a cess pool of death threats and polls for who should get raped irl based on user pictures.
Rants & Flames is a great idea but there has to be some sort of limit set or it'll just turn into a forum of people competing to post the most...
Regarding the OP... none of what you pointed out is a bug or an exploit. In 18 years one thing should be clear to any UO vet. If you win it was talent.. if you lose it was an exploit.
I just installed the beta launcher after not being able to open the old launcher. Also had to set compatibility mode to win 7 as I'm running Win 10. No issues since.
But accounts aren't "hacked". They're compromised. In order for an account to be hacked somebody would need to illegally access the UOF servers with malicious intent. That isn't happening.
People are sharing accounts, telling their gf/bf/guildmates their passwords, using far too simple...
