Thanks... is it possible to set the macro to do x number of attemps before moving to next creature?
I got a Young dragon last night to help me out with the Frost trolls and shit on dagger, but it got killed by a couple of trolls quite fast. I didn't know it was so weak :/ Well will tame two...
They had shrink potions back in the days at Novus Opiate. Damn, I really liked the fack walking a round and suddenly dubbel clickt on the small dragon statue in my back pack and voila! The dragon was standing there beside me.. Like etherals actually but you needed to shrink it again with a...
Wanted to tame a Young dragon now that I can, to help me on my taming journey to GM. However, the only place I know of to find em is Destard... and with all the reds running around there I wonder if there are other places to find Young dragons?
I really wanna do some shit (like farming) with a 2nd char but I find it hard. Using an afk macro (which isn't allowed) would be one thing, but now it's like start taming... 5 seconds... fail or success, start over or walk to the next creature, rinse and repeat. I would be a different thing if...
Pew... Taming is tedious and a tip from me is to set a daily goal for gains and stick to that. I consider 1-1,5 gains per hour is okey for late 70s at least (where I'm @ now) and have a daily goal for 2-3 skill points. It takes time but that's ok cause I know what goddies will come :)
Yeah, I've actually decided to grind as far as possible - hopefully all the way and buy/eat the SS for gm and up instead.
Met a guy yesterday who was at 96.5 and he gained ~.3 per 20 mins just by taming harts and bulls.
This with taming scorps in dungeon... Ok for +50% gain speed but the taming speed is like -100% because the need of moving them to earthies to get killed as well as being pked. Quantity must be the key here, right? Taming shit @ dagger isle seems the best choice at mid 70 imo.
Damn, that's not much. Shouldn't take so long from 73 to 80 either I suppose?
I've read that it takes 200-300 hours to GM taming. May it be the last 10 skill points (90-gm) that are the real time consuming ones?
May I ask if you tamed in dungeons from 80-90 or in the woods (and/or compassion)?
I'm training up a tamer for the first time (I'm @ 73 atm). I've read alot about how difficult and time consuming it is when post 80 so I plan to eat SS's later on.
I've followed the market since last year and I've seen the prices go up on taming SS's to nearly 500k per (xmas peak) and seen them...
Yeah, second tames really gives me boost right now. I'm at 72.5 right now and even though it's tedious it's rewarding in the same time. The blue text telling me I have gained is a rewarding feeling :)
Have tried Compassion desert but can't see how one can train there efficiently. I mean, there's like 4 hell hounds, 3 hell cats, 5 trolls and 3 snakes per scorpion.. :(
Tried scorps in Shame again and 3 gains in 10 minutes (after that I got pked). Maybe I should reconsider my plans ;-)
If anyone knows of a better, less (pk) crowdy place for taming scorpions than Shame, please let me know!
I've been training creatures in the woods until now, basically everything but mostly timber wolves, bears, large cats and stuff. Until now it has worked great and I'm at exactly 70. However, after I hit 70 I haven't been able to get a single .1 gain (has gone more than 1 hour).
I'm not capped...
