Where does the majority of the player base come from? If there is a significant European player base then there could be a case for a EU event coordinator. If there isn't then perhaps it just isn't that important for them. If I joined an Asian shard I would expect them to hold events to cater...
It's a North American shard owned by a Canadian. Of course everything will be on North American time zones. If I played a European shard I would expect to miss a lot of the events as well. It sucks but them the breaks. I thought with @drinn you may see different events at different times but...
Unfortunately that's the problem non North American players are going to face playing any shard based out of the US. With manpower limitations as they are you aren't going to see events held across all time zones. Just isn't feasible.
I like this. Regardless of what time zone the handout is given someone will miss it (work, rl commitments, sleep or just whatever)
If it is a random handout like Shane's birthday cake then it should just be random. But for significant milestones it should be available for all players as a...
These are all pretty sick looking locations. A nice spawn placement at each at least until the dungeons open would get people using the island more and more. Seems like such a waste of resources to have placed all that work into Booty Island and then let it sit there largely unused.
This type of griefing does more harm to the population of UOF than any of the known issues with red guilds. If your play style is pet griefing then then you should be willing to pay the price and go red (or at a minimum go grey for an extended time period like thieves)
Been having issues as well. My whole guild will be playing then we all freezing up for a period of time. We have actually had to log out for the night a couple of times when the spikes get too much or people start to get disconnected.
I see a lot of young players camping lich/lich lords in Yew for a few days in a row. That spawn can rack up some serious coin and ss's fast with no risk of loss. Too me its a bit suspicious and maybe defeating the spirit of young status.
Wonder if a way to monitor by linking young status to...
Bah !
They did have a great world junior roster this year. Mind you if we could have had our players that were eligible but currently starring in NHL it would have been a different story :)
Canadian funds for Canadian donation coins ! In light of the recent world junior fiasco I think there should be a discount for all Canadian players to help our sorrow :(
Agreed. If it is just a random thief with good timing and luck then them the breaks and congrats for the theft. If it is the owner of the vendor/shop or working with someone to steal items back as soon as they are bought and toss back on the vendor it is pretty shady and bad for business.
