As a member of a 4 man IDOC crew, I would like to say no. Static timers play to the advantage of skill, not numbers. Work on your IDOC skills and find a system that works for you.
I by no means like the EQMS collective borg, but I like sitting around with my thumb up my arse even less.
+1 For the deceit duel room. I still remember the first time going to deceit and watching the duels as a ghost and having no idea what was going on.
Later when Oceania released, most duelling I remember occurred in makeshift water barrel arenas.
That's cool if you don't enjoy PvP. I'm not gungho about it myself, though I do enjoy it a fair bit, win or lose.

What makes you an authority on what it means to be red? Or on how any player ought to play the game?
If you want a solution to player problem, come up with a player solution.
I want to spend as much time doing as many IDOCs as I can. I want all the preparatory work I do to mean something.
Not possible under random system. I can go to just 2 IDOCs and waste up to 4 hours of my time online doing absolutely NOTHING.
