If you go through the launcher you just go to the settings tab and there is an option for tree hack, it will probably say false next to it, change it to true. Close and re-open the launcher. Check the updates tab. There should be an art file there, download and good to go :)

I would drop stealth and maybe hiding, i think provo and music are going to make life a ton easier. Now the thing to remember about a meta is that of you have above 50 music or taming then you cannot equip a talisman. If you are going ti do a meta mage I would do another char.

You could use eval, but magery for this build is mainly used for ev's or demons so it will go largely unused. Hiding is better than invis because of the cast time and interruptability. Yeah, the explorer ones don't seem to work for me either, but I think the monster kill ones work. It's weird, some work and some dont.

Ask around in game and see if anyone will sell you a "lockpicking box set" usually using these you can pick and re lock the boxes and keep picking to gain. I gained till about 92 on a set I borrowed from my friend.

Depends on if you need a large plot or not, there are quite few spots out there for something around a 9x9 or so. It looks like you are in a guild (just looking at your sig) so I would ask around there, someone may know of a vacant spot near their house. GLHF :)
