Off the top of my head, my macro would go something like this:
Double-Click oil cloth
Target Dagger
Double-Click keg (this will be the keg your poison potion comes from)
Use Skill Poisoning
Target green potion
Target Dagger
If (poisoned) then
Cast Cure/Drink Orange Potion/Bandage Self...
Instead of needing to carry a knife, hatchet, scissors, etc you can purchase a multi-tool from the gold sink vendor. It will act as any tool needed for skinning, chopping wood/furniture, cutting banages, etc.
Seems like a nice QoL thing that rich people might pay for. I know I would.
There are 3 official UO clients:
UO Classic Client - The original that we all know and love
UO 3D - Horrible, Ugly, Useless
Enahanced Client - The newer one that isn't supported by this server.
Yeah, I'm just not sure what else would be terribly useful. I guess I could grab archery for kiting harder mobs.. Hiding would be meh.
I could drop serious coin to level poisoning, but I feel like the results would be minimal, since even ogre lords just take a few seconds to kill..
Anyone know if the stats posted on Stratics are still relatively accurate for monsters?
If so, it seems like the hardest MotM monster, by far, are balrons.. Not sure if i'll ever being fighting them solo.. next are ogre lords and dragons. But even those have wrestling below 100.. I'm beginning...
I just started grinding my first talisman, I chose berserker. My current template is as follows:
100 Swords/Tactics/Anat/Healing/Arms Lore/Magery
20 Med
My talisman is currently level 4 and I mainly just want to dungeon crawl. I made this character specifically to farm MotM. So is Arms Lore...
I've seen people make LJ macros, but typically they just create the macro to look for the tree in a specific spot. So you always put your character on the north side of the tree, then use the macro.
I had one on uoforever that I loved to play. I liked doing tournaments with him. A lot of people don't know that having poisoning increases the chance to apply the poison. This was my build:
100 Fencing
100 Tactics
100 Anatomy
100 Healing
100 Resisting Spells
100 Magery
100 Meditation
I was...
Del passage, like everyone has been mentioning, worked for me. As soon as I could even attempt to tame a lesser hellcat I went there. GM'd in about a month of daily taming. About an hour a day.
It's rough, but not as rough as all the reds in the dungeons :P
Good luck!
As I understand, DEX has zero effect on bandage time for vetting.
This wouldn't be hard to test. Raising dex temporarily to 100 should only take a bit. I can do it on my lunch break... for science. If someone doesn't chime in, i'll report back with the official word.
