i just tried this after having to reupdate the map files and now uosteam sticks on logging in...client freezes and crashes.

I like it. I heard an idea recently of allowing mobs to drop experience scrolls for meta pets for dealing with death, but that creates a horders market and players auto leveling pets without a grind. I feel something like this would serve better

Thats the beauty of a sandbox scripted game. you can recreate so much shit. If Shane wanted to create a Lord of the Rings style quest which grants the player a ring of invisibility at the end which slowly drains your stats, it could be done.
