Thanks for the input everyone. The original steps from @parsnip did not work for me but I found that updating to the latest drivers for my Intel 630 Graphics (via Device Manager) solved the issue for me.
If you join a guild your pets (and guild members) are flagged green, allowing you to attack them freely.
I can add you to mine tomorrow evening if you would like.
He makes a good point about the profit margin being relatively low, but this can be offset by producing large volumes. Filling kegs, unlike killing Ettins, can be done completely AFK with a clever enough macro (note: I have been told buying regs while AFK is considered 'AFK resource gathering'...
Just have them attack each other!
When their mana is drained stop attacking and let them regenerate. This will prevent them from casting low level spells over and over which (I believe) don't give as good gains.
I gamed taming with 0 lore as it allowed me to pick up peacemaking temporarily without dropping resist.
I think that sometimes pets will not follow the release command, which you will use often while training taming. A workaround I found was to use the context menu (single click the pet)...
Options > General > Open Corpses, there is a drop-down menu, select 'not targeting'. Now steam won't open any corpses if you have a cursor (e.g. spell) up.
You can ninja vet to heal without taking damage:
1. step in to start the bandage
2. step away for about 5 seconds
3. step back in to finish the bandage and heal (and back to 1.)
I really like the ability to move reagents from one bag to another easily using this menu option, but it currently only works for containers located in a backpack or bank box. Would it be possible to allow this to work on locked down containers in one's home as well?
I GMed with the following:
Skeleton/zombie to 65ish
Skeletal Knight to 80ish
Rotting Corpse to GM
All targets were provoked onto myself. I GMed music before starting provo.
