Yea, I won't say the exactly same thing must be implemented here, but I think that any trade off between higher ARs and "something" would bring much more diversity for players.
Both of shield do not have a Dex penalty, but Heater Shield provides higher AR.

There is a Power Scroll for Lumberjacking, but I wonder what bonus can obtain from the 120 lumberjacking.
As far as I know GM Lumberjacking provides 35% damage bonus while attacking with axe. Does this damage bonus increase over 100 skill?

In my opinion, honestly, all the dex penalties have to be removed from all the armors. Everybody would prefer to wear leather armors with higher tier magical property such as Invulnerability, rather than wearing chain/bone/plate mail, if the dex penalties return back The higher tier armors...
