Oooo where do I get bows with tactics bonuses since they actually give archer skill bonus which is hit chance not tactics which is damage.

You can use both. Level a boat to 10 by killing monsters and sinking other ships and you can add up to 4 upgrades

The abysmal sea serpents have already been toned down once by eppy they should have their loot adjusted to match the monsters strength. They add a very fun dangerous and difficult element to whirlpools but are extremely manageable. The whirlpools do however need their archway dyes finally put in

Maybe you should try using a talisman instead of just a bow. I don’t have any problem stealing kills from tamers with my zerker archer when I walk up and shoot them for 200+200(from ds)+200(from pshift)+300(from tread) their pet doesn’t even hardly land a blow before I kill the mob
