If this were the case, wouldn't the Knights, Orcs, and Trin be bursting at the seams, while werkt would have disappeared long ago having achieved all the pixels while offering everything? Seems big guilds that make their members rich can do a pretty good job of keeping people engaged and playing.
haly said checking a sign as YOU run isn't an issue. a script that does the running for you counts as moving on rails, which is worse than standing in place clicking the sign which is not against the rules.
aside from thieves/incogs, i'd like to understand why it's a bad thing?
being in a guild is an integral part of a characters identity. i can't turn thieves guild on and off. i can't turn being red on and off. once i become a murderer, i can no longer steal and i can't decide to instantly go...
45 min damage? heck no. seems high even on unarmored but i haven't done the math.
problem with a mage is that as you channel the spell, they are running away.
DO NOT use any resource gathering skills unattended, such as lumber jacking, stealing, and mining. This includes, but not limited to; rail mining, auto mining/smelting/house dropping and or automated rune book traveling and banking.
If we think this sentence is properly punctuated, then...
PhireHawk, don't cut off your nose to spite your face. I agree that factions was preferable to current state militias, which is better than initial implementation militias, but the bottom line is that militias right now is fun. Come play with us.
Kidden, I actually don't think any of those are good reasons. You and I put our characters in our profile because we believe in having a reputation shared across characters. I think membership of a guild should come with similar transparency. I do agree that disguise kits and incognito should...
depends on the guild, other participants, and your perceived chance of getting a drop. if there are 3+ members from two different guilds, you're most likely safe. if they did raid, they'd be focusing the other guild before you. if you are there from level one and are crushing it, and there's one...
THere's a specific tile range that you have to be within to get a drop in your pack. There is no sliding scale, it's binary.
The range is exactly 50 tiles for all champs (Cunninghan's Law)
Wufnu, that's one of the benefits of a guild. They typically maintain timers on champs and will pop them once off cooldown. A number of people need to be present to set off the champ spawn.
I like Stegco's "only solution" to the "problem": both of which are fabricated.
