Maybe I misunderstoof....but you can precast a spell, equip a weapon, attack a fresh target, hit them, then drop the spell and do w/e from there. I do it all the time on an archer mage. Its not the best solo PvP template, but it does deal heavy damage and is very fun to play in groups.

I was told by Shane this was to prevent PK zerg guilds from running the Arch Daemon. In reality, this only makes It easier to do so because now you have no where to hide when they do come in. If stealth archers were the problem, I would understand this change, but its not the pks that are...
