1. Yes if the weapon was poisoned by someone with poisoning.
2. Swords - Katana Fencing - Kryss I believe, maybe daggers
3. Yes - gold, I've killed several mobs recently that dropped no gold
4. Nope
I have seriously considered it. Fighting with myself internally...if you still have them when I get off work (around 4pm cst) I will buy the lot. If you are able to piece them out in the mean time, do so; I'll probably pick up the stragglers.
It was kind of the same way during the Invasion of the Giants. There ended up being so many corpses on the ground you couldn't find yours in the pile.
Possibly turning off the criminal looting for the mobs in the area, kind of like how they removed the ability to call the guards on them.
only other thing i can think of is your client is out of date, if you have a moment, we can test this together. just need you to loot a vine i kill or vise versa. If it is there for me but not you, that will narrow this down more.

Metal types/colors for player made weapons only affects the durability of the weapon. It does not increase damage or accuracy. The only exception to this is weapons made with a Runic Hammer, which adds durability, damage, and accuracy...
Ok, glad you got it figured out. Make sure you check all the skill 'tabs' while "Show Real" is checked and mark down ones you don't want and lock the ones already at 0.0. Eventually you can work up to a 720 total skill points, but that takes power scrolls.
