Well in PvP, you can get a feel for what a axe will do to you and plan accordingly (ie whether you want to risk taking a hit or not). With warhammers and crushing blows -- you are taking a risk every time, so it is much more scary. Both have their pros.
I believe what @eppy did was cause the LJ skill at GM to add modifiers to whatever axe type weapon being held similar to how runics have damage modifiers. For example a valorite runic weapon gets +9 for being vanquishing and +4 for being exceptional (if exceptional) to a total of a +13 modifier...
@KoldesLives - Staff is always open to hearing about current difficulties/issues and what you see as a solution to resolve them. Providing thoughtful suggestions can go a long way.
During the time factions came out (2000), the estimated subscribers for all shards was around 200k active players. Its important to realize that "active players" is different than freeshards that have quite a few accounts but a much smaller active player population. If you just take that total...
While factions was old, the inherit issue with it is that it was designed for a much larger shard population -- all of its features are designed for that. When you put that into effect with a population 1/5th the size of what it was designed for, it makes many things really easy to game and...
I agree with removing the leave house paralysis, but not with the militia -- I'd rather see that continued but fixed. I think too often we see something not work well and just say, eff it - go scrap that. Things can be made better and fixed in a way to bring new interesting mechanics for PvP -...
When I bother to fill a vendor with plain exceptional instruments (I just hate having to drag so many over to a vendor and set prices) - They always make a very good margin - much better than armor, which has much higher mat costs. Every bard needs exceptional instruments because they die and...
Can you share details on how profit will be distributed to shareholders and what the process is to sell? Also, what input do shareholders have within the overall business?
I would have to disagree with your point:
It would in fact have maximum impact on most crafters who craft instruments as it is much less common for them to also have fletching.
I like that you want to see fletching become more of a thing, but trust me, the fact that you can craft magical...
I would actually recommend a Scribe Macer - good defence and you can learn the basics while having some protection from mage spell dumps. It is not a template that will be an offensive powerhouse, but easy to play and get the hang of things. Once you are more comfortable with pvp in general...
We do not have a rule against it, but keep in mind that if you are using a VPN, others also might be using the same VPN. This could lump you into a group of accounts where one might be doing something that is against the rules and everyone on that VPN address would be flagged and accounts...
